The Poweshiek County Fairgrounds are strategically located in central Iowa, about 1 1/2 miles north of I-80 between Des Moines and Iowa City. The fairgrounds can easily attract visitors from all over Iowa. We invite you to make the fairgrounds "home" for your next event.

Directions from I-80: North on Hwy 146 to Ogan St. Turn east (right), cross over the railroad tracks, you can take the second gravel driveway on your north (left), or you can keep going to East Street, turn north ( left), go past the County Shop to the first gravel driveway on your west (left).   Fair Association and Board Member Information:
Association membership dues are $5 per person 18 years old or older payable by 4:30 PM the last Friday of August.
